Constance “Connie” Yvonne Tanner Deason, 91, of Evansville, Indiana, formally of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, March 5, at Evansville. She was born October 9, 1922, at Cherry Valley, Arkansas, to Henry Estes Tanner Sr. and Dott Jones Tanner. She was raised in Cherry Valley and graduated from Cherry Valley High School. In 1942 she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, to make her home. She married Marion Clinton Deason December 31, 1947 at First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. She retired from Fort Roots VA Hospital after 30 years where she was a medical secretary. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion in 1999; and one brother, H.E. Tanner Jr. Survivors are a sister Patsy Tanner of Booneville, Indiana; one nephew, Lawrance O. Lile of Ashland, Missouri; one niece, Caryn Iber of Newburgh, Indiana; one great-nephew, Alex Iber; and two great-nieces, Caitie McKinley and Joy Lile. Visitation is set for Saturday, March 8, 10:00 a.m at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
