HINSHAW, P.J. – P.J. Hinshaw filed Veteran Application #14017 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate pension and it was received as allowed August 29, 1901 at the State, citing service with Company I, 28th North Carolina Infantry from 1862 thru 1865, he being wounded. Mr. Hinshaw died November 3, 1905. His widow, Mrs. E.A. Hinshaw filed Widow Application #14017 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate widow pension and it was received as allowed August 10, 1906 at the State.
