LITTLE ROCK — Peter Lawton Petty, 76, of Little Rock died May 24, 2011, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Oklahoma City to Lou Fisher and Ruth Lawton Petty.
He pastured churches in Arkansas and Oklahoma, including Prairie Grove.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita Miller Petty; three daughters, Ruth Helen Poyor and husband Scott of Rogers, Ronita Yvette Blok and husband Jim, and Rebecca Eilen Stipe and husband Richard, all of Benton; a son, Harley Fisher Douglas Petty and wife Leigh Ann of Stuttgart; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at the Geyer Springs Baptist Church in Little Rock. Visitation will be 9 a.m.
Local services will be 5 p.m. today at the Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion. Visitation at the cemetery will be 4:30 p.m.
Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
