Edward Thornton Pyeatt, 68, of 514 N. Willow, died in a local hospital Sunday. He was born April 7, 1899 at Prairie Grove, the son of Frank and Mary Edmiston Pyeatt and was a retired railroad engineer and a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Cruse or Fayetteville and Mrs. Orah Hicks of Tahlequah, Okla., and 18 nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Watson Mortuary with burial in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
