Hugh Thompson, 79, of Brookland, died Saturday afternoon in Crittenden County Hospital in West Memphis.
A native of Tennessee, he spent most of his life in the Brookland area. He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ethel Eason of Brookland; and one brother, George Thompson of Kennett, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
