James Darrel Burns was born December 22, 1941, in King City, California, and went to be with the Lord January 14, 2015, in Hartman, Arkansas, at the age of 73. He was retired and a member of Hilltop Bible Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Dewey Burns and Addie Ovean Bolin Burns; a daughter, Patricia Lee Dranow; and a brother, Dennis Ray Burns.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanene Haworth Burns of Hartman, Arkansas; his son, Darrel Lee Burns and wife, Carla, of Long Beach, California; two brothers, Stephan Allen Burns and wife, Cathy, of Morgan City, Louisiana and Michael Wade Burns of Conway, Texas; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015, at Hilltop Bible Church in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend Bill Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Ozark, Arkansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Peru Mission Fund at Hilltop Bible Church: 10257 Highway 164, Clarksville, Arkansas.
