Melverta Elmore Beneux, 87, of Del City, Okla., died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. She was born April 24, 1927, in Clarks Chapel. She worked at Capitol Hill Baptist Preschool, was a member of Destiny Christian Center and the widow of Edward Beneux.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Destiny Christian Center in Del City. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City, Okla.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Rosetano of Moore; a son, Robert Beneux of Oklahoma City; a sister, Emma Carson of Wagoner, Okla.; a brother, Kennith Elmore of Hunnington; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will begin Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
