Civil War Confederate
1845 - 1928. His name was John
Perry Griffith. He
was wounded and taken prisioner in Siege of Vicksburg. He had been shot in
the eye, arm, and leg. He was left totally blind and partially paralized,
but well enough aparently to father four children. He lived to be about 83 yrs old
