BENTONVILLE — Robert "Bobby" Charles McDougal, 59, of Bentonville died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at his home. He was born Oct. 5, 1954, in Bentonville, the son of Louella Haney and Charles William McDougal.
He was a custodian for the Bentonville Public Schools for 26 years and loved his work. He enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bobby has lived in Bentonville his entire life and loved every moment. He loved telling stories of Bentonville and bow much the area has changed since he was a child.
He has met so many wonderful people during his life and has positively changed the life of so many more. He is loved by many and will continue to be loved for eternity. He was a bright light to his daughters and grandchildren who have and will forever adore, love, and miss him so very much.
His smile would light up a room and will never be forgotten. He will be missed dearly. He has been called home and although life must go on for those of us on Earth, it has just begun for him and we will see him again soon at the gates of Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Carolina Trevino and her husband, Rogelio, of Centerton, Victoria Calderon and her husband, Jose Gomez, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Patsy Lovell and her husband, Leonard, of Decatur, Sue McDougal of Bentonville; two brothers, John McDougal and his wife, Doris, of Gravette, Harry McDougal and his wife, Mary, of Noel, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at Park Street Baptist Church in Bentonville from 9 a.m. until the service time.
A celebration of his life will follow the visitation at the church at 11 a.m. on Friday.

BENTONVILLE — Debrina Alta Polaco-McDougal, 50, of Bentonville, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, in Bentonville, Ark. She was born in Ruidoso, N.M., on April 24, 1961, the daughter of Elfigo Polaco and Carolina Sachez.
She was loved by many. In her life she touched many lives and brought many to the Lord. Debrina was the most loving mother, she lived each and every day for her children, and her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed dearly.
Debrina was preceded in death by her father, Elfigo Polaco; her mother, Carolina Sanchez-Polaco; one sister, Lorencita Polaco; one sister, Eva Marie Polaco; and one brother, Floyd Polaco.
She is survived by her husband, Bob McDougal, whom she married on Nov. 27, 1998; two daughters, Carolina Trevino and her husband, Roy, of Centerton, Ark., Victoria Gomez and husband Jose of Moore, Okla.; three brothers, Elfigo Polaco Jr. and wife Mary of Roswell, N.M., Simon Polaco and wife Martha of Roswell, N.M., and George Polaco of Ruidoso, N.M.; four sisters, Libby Palmer and husband Ray of Pace, Fla., Josie Rich of Albany, Ga., Pajita Abney and husband Bill of Tularosa, N.M., Lala Newkirk of Austin, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Arianna Gomez, Jose Gomez Jr., Belicia Trevino, Ivan Trevino, Kristine Gomez, Israel Trevino and Dominic Gomez.
Visitation will be at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville, Ark., on Dec. 21, 2011, at 10 a.m.
