Charles R. White, 64, of Stigler died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in his home. He was born July 15, 1942, in Knox City, Texas, to James L. White Sr. and Elizabeth Faye Claybrook. He was a retired Army and Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, retired from the DHDC in Booneville, where he worked in food service. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled Veterans of America and Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church in Brooken, Okla. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles L. White.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter,four sons,one sister, two brothers, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
