Ray Kenneth Starnes, 63, of Fayetteville died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at Fayetteville. Born May 25, 1931, at Fayetteville, the son of Jess and Mae Wills Starnes, he was a self-employed handyman and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was a lifelong resident of Fayetteville.
Survivors are two brothers, Raymond Keith Starnes of Fayetteville and Jesse Leonard Starnes of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Wanda Mae England of Fayetteville and Maudie Lee Gabbard of Vacaville, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the White Oak Cemetery near Fayetteville, with the Rev. Leon Gregory officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Nelson's Funeral Home.
