Rogers — Fred Castor, 86, of 407 E. Pine, died Wednesday in the Rogers hospital. Born Jan. 3, 1885 in Illinois, he was a retired carpenter and farmer and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mary Crone Castor of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Cora Jones and Mrs. Martha Bookout, both of Rogers, Mrs. Hazel Wall of Bentonville, Mrs. Lena Norris of Lowell and Mrs. Nellie Cogan of Pendleton, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Betha Leaming of Bloom, Kan,; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Callison Funeral Chapel with burial in Fairmont Cemetery near Gentry.

Mary Crone Castor, 87, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Rogers Memorial Hospital. She was born July 14, 1891 in Springtown, Ark. She was a member of the Gospel Outreach Church in Rogers.

Survivors include: five daughters, Mrs. Cora Jones, Mrs. Martha Wall, both of Rogers; Mrs. Nillie Cogan of Irregon, Ore.; Mrs. Hazel Padgett of Bentonville and Mrs. Lena Norris of Lowell; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the Callison Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Rev. Samuel Adcock officiated. Burial was at Fairmont Cemetery in Springtown.
