SILOAM SPRINGS (Special) - Mrs. Ida Jane Cardwell Guthary, 81, resident of the Logan community, east of Siloam Springs, died in a Springdale convalescent home Saturday. Born in Benton County December 9, 1879, she was a lifetime resident of the area. The widow of the late Cal Guthary, she was a member of the First Methodist Church of Springdale.
Survivors are one son, Ralph Guthary of Bentonville; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Galley, Route 1, Siloam Springs; one brother, Bert Cardwell, Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Nora Guthery, La Habra, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the First Methodist Church at Gentry by the Rev. Ray Edwards. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery under the direction of Wasson's Funeral Home.
