Robert L. Hillhouse, 62, died July 18 in VA Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Feb. 20, 1912, in Oakland, he was the son of Richard Lee and Iva Owens Hillhouse, a veteran of World War II and was employed as a miller at a feed company.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Mae Hillhouse of the home; three sons, Robert Lee Hillhouse Jr., Anchorage, Alaska, George Hillhouse and Dwight Hillhouse, Siloam Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Leta Mae Ames, Siloam Springs, Mrs. Louise Greathouse, Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Thelma Riggins, Deer Lodge, Mont.; four brothers, Richard Hillhouse, Broken Arrow, Okla., Frank Hillhouse and Everett Hillhouse, Dugginsville, Mo., and Leonard Hillhouse, Springfield, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Mint Henderson, Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Fannie Jones, Dugginsville, Mrs. Rena McBride, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Allie Newton, Pontiac, Mo.; and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Wasson Funeral Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Jerry Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.

Eula Mae Hillhouse, 75, of Siloam Springs died Monday, Jan. 16, 1995, at her home.

Born Jan. 25, 1919, at Gentry, a daughter of John Harvey Reynolds and Zena Vanzant Reynolds, she was retired from the Allen Canning Co. in Siloam Springs. She was a lifetime resident of Siloam Springs, a member of the Disabled American Veterans of Gentry and a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors are three sons, Robert Lee Hillhouse Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, George Wayne Hillhouse of Siloam Springs and Dwight D. Hillhouse of Sand Springs, Okla.; three daughters, Leta Mae Ames of Siloam Springs, Hazel Louise Goyette of St. Paul, Minn., and Thelma Marie Riggins of Siloam Springs; two brothers, George H. Reynolds and Ervin Reynolds of Sweet Home, Ore.; two sisters, Marie Nichols and Opal L. Smith, both of Siloam Springs; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the Wasson Memorial Chapel of Siloam Springs with Pastor Will Garner officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Benton County.
