Elizabeth Ann Culpepper Blevins, daughter of the late James Culpepper and Della Warden Culpepper, was born April 4, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio. She departed this life August 31, 2012 in Melbourne, Florida at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage to Walter “Jake” Blevins, Jr on June 29, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas and to this union, three children were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Franklin Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Ken and Daisy Blevins of Rockledge, Florida; one daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Rodney St. Pierre of Melbourne, Florida; one brother: James Culpepper of Spring, Texas; one sister, Wilma Jeanette Wagner of Metarie, Louisiana; three grandchildren: Marty Blevins, Kyle Blevins and Kai Blevins and one great grandson: Xavier Blevins and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son: Keith Allen Blevins and one sister: Dixie Wagner.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Franklin Baptist Church with Robert Norton officiating. Burial will be at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas.
Pallbearers: Kirby Billingsley, Don Selph, Colton Selph, Tom Bailey, Brady Melton, James Melton.
