Lowell Elmer Lenz was born in Beltromi, Minnesota on December 25, 1918, son of John Elmer and Maybelle (Reep) Lenz. He departed this life on Friday, April 19, 2013, while in the company of family members at Crown Point Health and Rehabilition Center, Horsehoe Bend, Arkansas, at the age of 94 years, 3 months, and 25 days.
Lowell was united in marrriage to Ferol Vesser who preceded him in death. He was later married to Della (Belcher) Vaught. He was employed as a salesman for a farm implement company and served his country with the US Merchant Marines. Lowell was a member of the Horseshoe Bend Presbyterian Church and the Horseshoe Bend Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife Della Lenz of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; son, Dr. Jeffery Lenz (Ruth) of Des Moines, Iowa; two step daughters, Linda Chapman of Pasadena, Texas and Deborah Wall of Gulfport, Mississippi; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and one sister, Bethel Vesser, of Ada, Minnesota. He was preceded by his first wife, parents, one daughter, Maradee Lenz and one sister.
Memorial Services will be held at Horseshoe Bend Presbyterian Church, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2013, with Rev. David Schaller officiating
