FRANKLIN — Pauline Oneal Jackson, 83, of Franklin died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011.
Born March 13, 1927, at Lunenburg, she was the daughter of Ruben and Inez Ring Oneal. She was united in marriage to Lehman Jackson in April 1946.
She was a homemaker and was employed in the housekeeping department of Hill High Motel in Horseshoe Bend, retiring after 20 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years; a brother, A.C. Oneal of Rolla, Mo.; a sister, Mary Lou Sherk of St. Louis; six nephews; and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Violet Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Lee Grant, Chris Grant, Scott Oneal, Shawn Oneal, Bill Davis and Mike Dillard.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Shaver and Kennard Billingsley.
