ROGERS — James Gorman, 85, of Rogers died Nov. 17, 2005, at Rogers. He was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Webb City, Mo., to Frank and Rosa Gorman. He was a machinist and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers and the Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a prisoner of war. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Gorman, on July 30, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Gorman and wife Noreen of Lonetree, Colo., and David Gorman and wife Patty of Destin, Fla.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bentonville with the Rev. Mike Sinkler officiating.

Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery in Rogers.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

Military honors will be conducted by Bella Vista VFW Post 9063.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans Wall of Honor of Northwest Arkansas, c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, 72756.
