Ella
1858 - 1949
Ella was born in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia to Josiah and Margaret Jane (Maxey) Maddrey Jr. During the Civil War their father died and Margaret Jane took her two daughters to Chatooga County, Georgia. Here is where Ella met and married her husband James G. Hoskins. Margaret Jane remarried and she and her new husband relocated to Franklin County Arkansas by 1880. James and Ella followed by 1890. James and Ella had 11 children. When he died in 1896 she was left with 10 children still at home. Ella died at the age of 90.
