Jerry Wayne Ritter age 70 of Plainview passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Chambers Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 19, 1942 in Weber Falls, OK to the late H.T. & Lura Mae Parent Ritter. He spent his life serving God, logging, hunting, fishing and loving his family. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin sons, Jerry Wayne Jr and Gary Wayne Ritter; brothers Oscar Paul Ritter, Fred Ritter and Sam Ritter; sisters Mary Baker and Edith Dill;
Survived by his wife of 50 years Dorothy Lee Hill Ritter; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Cheryl Ritter of Rover; daughter, Barbara Lee Ritter of Plainview; grandchildren, Charity Keener, Monty Cooper, Donald Wayne & Wendy Lacy; great grandchildren, Jessie & Erika Alcantar, Gage Cooper, Cassie Cooper and Alivia Sanderford; great-great-grandchildren, JJ & Jacob Alcantar; sister, Lavida Klassen of Heavener, OK; brothers & sisters-in-law, Clifford & Nina Ritter of Bates, AR; Phillip & Louia Mae Ritter of Dardanelle; Wanda Ritter of Plainview; Victory Tabernacle Church Family and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Victory Tabernacle Church in Danville with Bro Stan Smith officiating. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Alan Ritter, Kevin Hood, Stephen Brothers, Adam Brothers, Bubba Dunham, Justin Kistner, Paul Brothers and Dennis Essman.
Honorary pallbearers include Jerrel Leach, Walter Kemp and Dr. John Westwood (Dad’s beloved Doctor)
