Laurence "Larry" Colburn, 80
Born August 31, 1934 in Schenectady, New York. Larry was surrounded by loved ones when he was called home to God on January 26, 2015. Larry served in the Air Force and worked at Edwards Air Force Base as a Deputy Flight Test Director on numerous programs throughout his 33 years as a civil service employee. Larry met the love of his life Juanita while at Edwards and they lived and raised four children (two sets of twins) in the Antelope Valley (California) for 34 years. Larry and Juanita retired to a farm in Mountain Home, Arkansas where they enjoyed 15 years together. Larry is survived by his four children Valerie Orcutt (Brad), Stephanie Wade (Kelly), Michelle Franco (Rob) and Mike Colburn (Chani). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Chandler and Hunter Wade, Alec, Nicholas and Sophia Franco, and Peyton and Ashley Colburn. He is preceded in death by his wife.
Internment will take place at a later date in Mountain Home Arkansas. Donations can be made in Larry's name to the Rocky Ridge Refuge in Midway Arkansas (rockyridgerefuge.com).
