Pea Ridge, Feb. 4-(Special)- The body of Pfc. Jack Potts, 23, who was killed in action in France June 18, 1944, will arrive in Garfield Saturday morning. Funeral services will he held Sunday in in the Dent cemetery north of Pea Ridge under direction of the Ralph Miller Funeral Home. The Rogers Veterans' Memorial Association will hold graveside services, with Commander Guy Cable in charge. The Rev. Mr. Ames, Cassvilie, Mo., minister, will hold a church service.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William M. Potts of Garfield; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Cline of Garfield, Mrs. Leona Fletcher of Washburn, Mo., and Miss Neoma Ruth Potts of the home; two brothers, Vernon and Billy Jim of the home.
Private Potts entered the service in December, 1942. He left the states in May 1943, for England, where he remained until D-Day.
