BELLA VISTA — Marvin Allen Lyles, age 88, of Rogers, died Feb. 9, 2014, at Concordia Nursing and Rehab in Bella Vista. He was born in Floyd County, Texas. on June 14, 1925, to the late Carl and Ruth Lyles.
Marvin served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was a farmer for most of his life before relocating to Northwest Arkansas in 1977. Marvin enjoyed gardening, working outside, tending to animals and doing mechanical work. He also enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lyles Robinson; two brothers; two sisters; and a great-granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Iva Mae Lyles, formerly of Rogers; a brother. John Lyles of Hale Center, Texas; a daughter, Debbie (Mike) Acridge of Bella Vista; a son, Ronnie (Linda) Lyles of Centerton; a daughter, Jacque (Bobby) Morden of Sherwood; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.
A graveside service will be Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Little Flock Cemetery in Little Flock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Iva Mae Lyles, 83, of Rogers, passed away on August 21, 2015, at Jamestown Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on October 1, 1931, in Floydada, Texas, to the late Noah and Bunnie (Hopper) Wright. She was preceded in death last year by her husband of 62 years, Marvin.
Iva was born and raised in West Texas. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1977. She worked in childcare in Bentonville for a number of years caring for infants and toddlers. Iva will be remembered for her sweet and gentle nature and kindness to everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Lyles Robinson; and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by daughter, Debbie Acridge and Mike of Bella Vista; son, Ronnie Lyles and Linda of Centerton; daughter, Jacque Morden and Bobby of Sherwood, Arkansas; brother, Harley Wright of Mansfield, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Thursday, August 27, 2015, from 5 until 7 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Little Flock Cemetery, Little Flock.
