George M. Reading, 79, Rt. 1, Siloam Springs, died Oct. 27 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born July 26, 1896, in Benton County, he lived most of his life in the area and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Reading, Earl Reading and Harold Reading, all of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Dixon, Siloam Springs; one sister Mrs. Liza Reynolds, Siloam Springs; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services for George M. Reading, 79, of Rt. 1, Siloam Springs, will be 2 p.m., Thursday at Wasson's Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. A.D. Corder officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery near Siloam Springs.

Siloam Springs — Mrs. Jennie C. Reading, 76, of Siloam Springs, died Wednesday, in a Siloam Springs nursing home. Born Jan. 21, 1898 in Benton county, she was a Baptist.

Survivors are the husband, George M. of the home; three sons, Robert, Earl and Harold of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Dickson of Siloam Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Donald of Siloam Springs and Mrs. Edith Rose and Mrs. Marble Dodson of Joplin, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wasson Memorial Chapel with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
