SILOAM SPRINGS — Robert Eugene Reading, 67, of Siloam Springs, died March 31, 2000, near Siloam Springs. He was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Siloam Springs to George M. and Virginia Turman Reading. He was a life resident of Siloam Springs, and graduated from Gentry High School. He retired from Allen Canning Company in Siloam Springs and was a member of the Gallatin Fire Department.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Reading and Patsy of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Suzanne George-Russell of Lenexa, Kan.; one brother, Earl Reading of Siloam Springs; one sister, Viola Dixon of Siloam Springs; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Jack Steele officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
