Arthur C. Shields, 81, Rt. 1, Siloam Springs, died Sept. 18 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 18, 1893, in Benton County, he was a lifetime resident of the area, a retired farmer and Baptist minister.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela Shields of the home; two sons, Wayne Shields and Victor Shields, Siloam Springs and one foster son, Drexel Hall, Siloam Springs; one brother, Elmer Shields, Delores, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Griffith, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Marie Storey, Canyon City, Colo.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services for Arthur C. Shields, 81, Rt. 1, Siloam Springs, who died Sept. 18, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the memorial chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with elder Kenneth Sanders and elder Ted Dorton officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
