DECATUR — Marvin Harvey Browers, 87, of Decatur died April 19, 2004, at his home. He was born July 1, 1916, in Lincoln to Harvey William and Gertrude Caughron Browers. He lived most of his life in Northwest Arkansas. He was a farmer and retired from Peterson Farms as an assistant manager of the hatchery. He was a member of Gentry Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years, where he served as deacon. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Chad Dickinson and Jason Browers.

Survivors include his wife, Grace McKinney Browers of the home; two sons, Marvin L. Browers of Decatur and Jerry Dean Browers of Conway; four daughters, Darlene McClellan of Lincoln and Vickie Shields of Gentry, Jeannie Browers of Denver, Colo., and Pam Duncan of Summers; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leta Mae McKinney of Longmont, Colo., and Vola Weeks of Siloam Springs.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gentry Missionary Baptist Church with Larry Hendren officiating. Burial will follow in Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

DECATUR — Viola Grace McKinney Browers, 90, of Decatur died Oct. 17, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Craig, Colo., to Roy John and Stella B. Kern McKinney.

She was a housewife and worked for several years at Peterson Farms.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Leroy Browers of Decatur; four, daughters, Darlene McClellan of Lincoln, Vickie Shields of Joplin, Mo., Jeannie Browers of Denver, Colo, and Pam Duncan of Summers; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Gentry. Burial will follow at Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur.
