Tombstone reads: "Mary A. Westfall, wife of Isaac Westfall, born November 15, 1833, died December 27, 1883. This grave is enclosed within a rock wall which is 12 feet long and 3 1/2 feet wide. The wall appears to once have been about a foot high but many of the rocks have fallen over now. There is a forked tree growing just behind the headstone. The marble headstone sits within the stone wall to the east of the forked tree. On the west side of the forked tree (west of the headstone) is an enormous natural stone about 3 feet long and 2 feet high, which appears to have been the original headstone. The marble headstone looks to be newer.
Mary A. Westfall is found on the 1880 Madison County, Arkansas, census with sons Edward D. and Andrew J. Westfall. Searches of the 1860 and 1870 census fails to find Mary or her husband, Isaac.
