Mary Jean Jamerson, age 68, of 1566 Col 61, Magnolia died Saturday, February 8, 2013 at Ruston, LA. Mrs. Jamerson was born September 14, 1945 in Magnolia, AR. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Serlene (Mullins) Easter. She married Nathaniel Jamerson and to their union, three children were born. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Damascus Baptist Church in Village, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister: Lorene Easter and one brother: Sylvester Easter. She is survived by two sons: James H. Copper and David (Helen) Easter and one daughter, Diane (Terry) Brown, four sisters: Shirley (Willie Dale) Gilbert, Betty Easter, Dorothy Manning and Gladys Hunter, three brothers: Johnny Ray Easter, Harvey Lee Easter, Johnny Lee (Doris) Easter, nine grandchildren: Ken (Shunta), Steve Ray, Jamie, James, Shaunte, Tony, Daron, Dasvien, and Mercedes; thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from noon until four on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Henderson's Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Road, Magnolia. Funeral services will be held at Unity AME Church, Freehope Community, on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Damascus Cemetery, Village under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
