SPRINGDALE — Mary Frances O'Donnel, 90 of Springdale died Friday, April 15, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 15, 1920, in Farmington to Lee and Winnie Dagriff Pettigrew.
Mary was a retired cashier from First National Bank of Springdale. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springdale where she was very active.
She volunteered at the Springdale Memorial Hospital, Arts Center of the Ozarks. Shiloh Museum and the Community Blood Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O'Donnel.
Survivors include her chosen family, Charlotte Steele of Fayetteville, Meagan Steele and Jason Steele and wife Leila, all of Springdale; Susie Reeder of Springdale, Sally Ratcliff and husband Shane of Lowell, Betsy Franklin and husband Wes, Lori Proud and husband Josh and Avery Proud, all of Springdale; Gene and Georgia Thompson of Springdale, Steve Thompson of Joplin and Karen Thompson of Springdale; her Goddaughter, Tami Shuck of Springdale; two Godsons, Bryan Clinckscales of Springdale and Tanner Shuck of Springdale, two nieces, Billie Lou Coulter of Tulsa, Okla., and Carol Pettigrew of Baltimore, Md., and many friends.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
