BELLA VISTA — Casey Lowe, 22, of Bella Vista, Ark., died tragically Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Ryugasaki, Japan.

He was born June 11, 1989, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Dennis J. and Marsha J. Lowe. Casey was a 2008 honors graduate of Bentonville High School and graduated in 2011 from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor of art degree in international relations. Casey was fulfilling a lifelong dream of teaching English communication in Japan where he taught at two grade schools and one junior high school. While being in Japan for the past 2 1/2 years, he also assisted other teachers and students in English. Casey was an Eagle Scout and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Marsha Lowe of Bella Vista; sister, Samantha Debusk of Lamar; and brother, Andrew J. Lowe of Bella Vista.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today in the Family Life Center at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville with a Celebration of Casey's Life at 6 p.m.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse.

A memorial fund has been established for Casey at First Security Bank of Rogers.
