Esperanza Sabijon Labitad, 89, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born August 1, 1923, in Honolulu, Hawaii she was the daughter of Dionesio and Valentina Dablo Sabijon. She was formerly of Siloam Springs and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Siloam Springs. She was a homemaker. She married Pascual Labitad and he preceded her in death, February, 2008.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter and one brother.

Survivors include five sons, Gregorio Labitad of Springdale, Arkansas, Benjamin and Venarando Labitad both of San Jose, California, Teofilo Labitad of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma and Danilo Labitad of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; five daughters, Gloria Labitad and Amalia Thomas both of Siloam Springs, Adelaida Salazar of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Anita Wood of San Jose, California and Elsie Labitad of Watts, Oklahoma; 39 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and one sister Rebecca Llaban of San Jose, California.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Salvador officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 22, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Siloam Springs. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Wasson Funeral Home.
