Arlis Boyd "Steve" Ledbetter, 65, 1210 S. Turner, Springdale, died Feb. 7 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born March 12, 1912, at Aurora, he was the son of H.C. and Maggie Hillis Ledbetter, a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and a laborer with a canning company. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Alice Thomas Ledbetter of the home; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Rosa Reading of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Bettie Sullivan of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mrs. Margaret Dorsey of Fullerton, Calif.; two half brothers, Ed Ledbetter of Morrisville, Calif., and Jim Ledbetter of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Loyd Officer of Springdale and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Phillips Chapel. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
