ROGERS — Robert Joe Carson, 89, of Rogers died May 26, 2000, at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born Aug. 9, 1910, to R.R. and Belle McFarlin Carson. He was a life resident of Rogers and a member of the Church of Christ and an elder for more than 40 years. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1928. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked at Union Pacific, Garrett Produce, Ralston Purina, Farmers Co-op, Randle-Sanders, Grigg Automotive and IGA.

Survivors include his wife, Esta Oleta Davis Carson, to whom he was married Dec. 24, 1928; three daughters, Peggy Robbins of Oklahoma City, Okla., Maralyne Grigg of Rogers and Ginger Walsh of Harrison; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers with burial in Rogers City Cemetery.

ROGERS — Esta Oleta Carson, 92, of Rogers died July 14, 2004, at Harrison. She was born June 22, 1912, in Cave Springs to W.A. and Ethel Smith Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joe Carson, on May 26, 2000.

Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Scott of Oklahoma City, Okla., Maralyne Grigg and husband Bill of Rogers and Ginger Walsh and husband Bud of Harrison; seven grandchildren: 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one cousin, Doris Mann of Harrison.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rogers Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers.
