COLLINS, A.C. - A.C. Collins died quite suddenly Thursday night at his home on North Third street. He had been apparently in his usual good health during the day but during the evening suffered with what is thought to have been an acute attack of indigestion or heart trouble and died very suddenly. Funeral services were held at the Central Methodist church Monday afternoon, having been delayed to await the arrival of his aged mother from Virginia, and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.T. Wilcoxon, assisted by Rev. T.B. Clark of the Christian church. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery. Mr. Collins was 55 years old and the family had lived in Rogers for about three years. He is survived by his wife and three children. A son, Frances Collins, was called from Flint, Michigan by his father's death and the two daughters, Mrs. Bess Cavin and Miss Ollie Collins of this city. Miss Collins is a stenographer in the office of Duty & Duty who are cousins of the late Mr. Collins.
