George E. Collum, 75, died suddenly at his home on S. First street Friday afternoon while sitting in a chair. Mr. Collum was a native of Bowie county, Texas and was born March 4, 1857. He had been a resident of Rogers for the last 20 years. He is survived by his widow, a daughter living in Hunter, Texas and a son in Texarkana. Funeral arrangements, which are in charge of A.D. Callison, have not been completed.

COLLUM, George E. - Funeral services for George E. Collum, 75, who died suddenly at his home on South First street Friday afternoon, were held from the First Presbyterian church Monday afternoon at 2:30. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge. Mr. Collum is survived by his widow, three brothers, Dr. F.R. Collum, John Collum and Bob Collum, all of Texarkana, one step-son, J.C. Bell of Rogers, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Roller of Hunter, Texas.
