Mrs. Robert (Thelma Doris) DeLong, 33, Rogers, died June 2 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 15, 1941, at Houston, Tex., she was the daughter of Ardis Tucker and Bessie Gill Burns, a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers and a dental lab technician. She served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years before coming to Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Robert A. DeLong of the home; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Gill Harris, Houston, Tex.; two brothers, David Burns, Fort Hood, Tex., and Raymond Burns, North Little Rock; and one sister, Mrs. Bobbie Jo Nix, Athens, Tex.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Dean Newberry officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns.
