James Anthony Dinwiddie, 81, Winslow, died Dec. 17 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 15, 1893, in Fayetteville, he was the son of Dr. Robert R. and Annie Bell Dinwiddie, a member of the Episcopal Church, and a 1915 graduate of the UA. He held a lifetime membership with Martin-Smith Masonic Lodge in Toledo, Ohio, was a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers and was a retired electrical engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Mitchell Dinwiddie of the home; two sons, William R. Dinwiddie, Detroit, Mich., and Richard A. Dinwiddie, Wichita Falls, Tex.; one sister, Miss Belle A. Dinwiddie, Rogers; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Moore's Chapel. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.

Memorials may be made to the UA scholarship fund or the charity of one's choice.
