Bettie Marie "Granny" Guilliams, 59, of Gentry, died at her home Monday, Jan. 24, 1994. Born May 6, 1934, in Iron County, Mo., the daughter of Thomas Franklin and Jesse Edna Sutton Helt, she was owner of Granny's Quilting Shop in Gentry. She was the wife of Forrest C. Guilliams and attended the Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors are three daughters, Jeanie Wright, Karla Greanze and Bettie McGill, all of Gentry; a son, Rodney Allen Guilliams of Ceres, Calif.; four brothers, Eddie Helt of Thornfield, Mo., Ray Helt of Parkdell, Ore.; Jay Helt of Billings, Mo.; and Rick Helt of Gentry; two sisters, Clovice Harrison of Binkleman, Neb., and Bibi Lee of Gentry, and 11 grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Siloam Springs. Burial will be at Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur with Pastor Richard Shaddock and Pastor Ken Simpson officiating. Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
