WEST FORK — Richard Stanley Ledbetter, age 78, of West Fork died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 4, 1936, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Vester E. and Mary Cox Ledbetter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Mary Ledbetter; and two sons, Steven Ledbetter and Mike Ledbetter.

He was former owner and operator of Taco Place in Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilynn "Ruby" Ledbetter; a daughter, Kerri Sampson of Murphy, Texas; three sons, Randy Ledbetter of Texas, James Elliott of Conway, Ark., and Keith Lunsford of Checotah, Okla.; four sisters, Jane Mahan of Elm Springs, Ark., Elaine Hegglund of Wichita Falls, Texas, Deborah Ingraham of Springdale, Ark., and Judith Hayden of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Robert Ledbetter of San Antonio, Texas, and Darrell Ledbetter of Fayetteville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at Moore's Chapel.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
