FAYETTEVILLE — William Glen Loftin, 86, of Fayetteville died Feb. 26, 2007, at Fayetteville. He was born June 28,1920, in Morrow to James Abraham and Alta Rachel Pitts Loftin. He attended Living Faith Church in Fayetteville. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and retired from the USDA after more than 20 years of employment. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by two sons, Etsel "Tom" Loftin and J. Keith Loftin.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Abshier Loftin of the home; one son, J. Bruce Loftin and wife Kathy of Fayetteville; one daughter, Annette C. Miller and husband Edd of Springdale; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Living Faith Church in Fayetteville with Dr. Buel Curtis officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Faith Church Fund for Families, 1351 S. Morningside Drive, Fayetteville, 72701.

Pallbearers will be Todd Loftin, Brock Loftin, Kyle Miller, Shannon Spangler, Todd Lewis, David Krause and Steve Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Long, Bradley Long, Johnny Loftin and Brad Bohannan.
