Billy Glen Fitzsimmons, son of the late Billy Fitzsimmons and Faye Brooks Gilson, was born December 29, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life March 25, 2014 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 24 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed by Color Tile, Edwards Brothers Incorporated. He also worked as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and T. J. Cude of Cave City; one son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Reba Fitzsimmons of Cushman; one sister, Carol Bishop of Melbourne; five grandchildren, Haley Cude, Mason Cude, Ayden Fitzsimmons, Abby Fitzsimmons and Austyn Fitzsimmons and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral service will be Friday, March 28 at 2:00 pm at Reeves Cemetery in Melbourne with Rick Brooks officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne
