Joseph Lafayette Peachee, 77, died this morning at his home on South Washington Street.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann, two sons, James C. Peachee and Clarence Peachee of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Mable Rowe of Lowell, Mrs. Grace Wood of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Beatrice Hinkle of Fayetteville; one brother, Jim Peachee of Haileyville, Okla.; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Comfort.

Funeral services for Joseph L. Peachee, who died at his home in Fayetteville Tuesday, were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Comfort Church by the Rev. Donald Walker and Neal Sawrey. Burial was in Mt. Comfort cemetery with Moore's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Robert Keen, Othel McChristian, Nelson Morgan, Clark Spears, Russell Winters and Robert Thomas.

Mrs. Mary Ann Peachee died this morning at her home, 821 South Washington Avenue. The widow of the late J. L. Peachee, she was born in Nashville, Tenn., May 8, 1874. Survivors are two sons, James and Clarence of Kansas City; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Lowe of Rogers and Mrs. Grace Wood and Mrs. Beatrice Hinkle of Fayetteville; one brother, Willie of Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Blue of Farmington and Mrs. Lon Chapman of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel, are incomplete.
