SPRINGDALE — Wanda Jean Parks Jett, 72, of Springdale died Aug. 23, 2012, in Springdale. She was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Marshall, Ark., to Andy and Minnie Shoffit Parks.

She enjoyed camping, country dancing and crafting and was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1987.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Junior Parks; and two sisters, Geneva Jackson and Dona Bixler.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Jett. They made their home in Washington, Ind., until retirement then spent time between Bonita Springs, Fla., and Springdale.

She is also survived by one daughter, Cheran Main; two stepdaughters, Cindy Arthur and Becky Reyes; two grandchildren. five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

SPRINGDALE - Richard "Dick" Ray Jett, 81, of Springdale died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, in Springdale. He was born August 14, 1933 in Washington, Ind., the son of Marshall Jett and Edna Amann Jett.

He was employed by Gress Brothers Construction as a heavy equipment operator for 35 years before retiring. He attended Cross Church in Springdale and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Fayetteville. He also loved camping, gardening and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jett of 46 years of marriage on July 22, 1966, brother, Donald Jett and his parents. Survivors include three daughters: Cindy Arthur of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Rebecca Spies of Augusta, Kan., Cheran Mann of Bella Vista, Ark.; niece, Jenette Porter of Springdale; sister, Nancy Carter of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with burial to follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. To sign the online guest book, please visit www.nelsonberna.com.
