TONTITOWN — Ruth Alene Kimrey, 95, of Tontitown died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Jan. 10, 1918, in Cordell, Okla., to John and Martha Knight Holly.
Ruth was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, housekeeping and decorating.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Kimrey of the home; four children, Patsy Garner of Powell, Wyo., Shirley Cox and husband, Jim, of Wewoka, Okla., Harold Kimrey and wife, Karen, of Tontitown, Mike Kimrey and wife, Barbara, of Knoxville, Ark.; a sister, Thelma Casteel of Aurora, Ore.; 12 grandchildren, and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. today, May 25, at Elm Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home.
