This is a cenotaph. Some of his ashes were put here, some in Piney Creek at his favorite fishing hole, some with the grave of his step father, Ted Claycomb and some went to his home in Texarkana.

David Wayne Stoner, son of Howard Stoner and Betty Jones McCracken, was born March 30, 1965, in Calico Rock. He passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
David grew up in Calico Rock, finished high school and went to college a short time in Fayetteville. He then went to Texarkana where his sister was going to college and went to college a while there.
Then he started his family when he married Robin Cottingham. His first daughter Morgan was born in 1988.
David remarried in 1997 to Melissa Ross and gained two more daughters, Kyndell and Krystal Ross.
He started his career with the Arkansas Department of Correction in 1991. He worked at several different units so he moved several time.
After he married Melissa, they move to Florida for a few years. When they moved back to Texarkana he went to work for the ADC again and was working at the Texarkana Work Release Unit at the time of his death.
David was born on his Grandpa Alva Jones' birthday, March 30, 1965. On March 30, 2010, his first granddaughter, Skylar Leigh, was born on David's birthday. Three months later he welcomed another granddaughter, Rhylee Jane and in April 2012, he welcomed yet another granddaughter, Kyra Mae.
His grandbabies were a special blessing to him and he was a wonderful Grandpa.
His hobbies included paracord crafting guns, flashlights and knives.
David had been baptized and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his wife Melissa Ross Stoner, two stepdaughters, Kyndall and husband Seth Scribener and Krystal Ross; his first wife, Robin Cottingham; daughter, Morgan and husband Eric Fuller; three granddaughters, Skylar Leigh and Kyra Mae Scribner and Rhylee Jane Fuller; parents, Betty Jones McCracken and step dad Johnny McCracken of Calico Rock, and Howard Stoner and step mother Carol of Texarkana; step sister Anne and step brother John; sister Tina Stoner, Hitchcock and husband Bill Hitchcock and niece Casey Hitchcock of Texarkana and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alva and Ersel Gifford Jones; paternal grandparents, A.B. and Lola Whiteaker Stoner; and step dad, Ted Claycomb.
A memorial service will be at the Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sunday, October 26, 2014, at 2:00 in the afternoon. Wayne Wood will be officiating. Memorial may be made to the Calico Rock Museum, Calico Rock School, or the Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
