Harold Maurice Batten, 69, of Mtn. View entered into rest on April 10, 2010 at home.
Harold was born January 5, 1941 in Mtn. View to Carlos and Nell (Bagby) Batten. He was a Baptist and was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Barbra (Harris) Batten; son Jeff Wallace and wife Janelle of Onia; two daughters Debbie (Batten) Clark and husband Danny of Ben and Terrie (Batten) James and husband David of Drasco; a brother, Johnny of Indio, Calif. and a sister, Julie Elkens of Hemmett, Calif.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Ester Bagby; father Carolos Batten, mother Nell (Bagby) Batten and brother Jerry Batten.
Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2010 at the White River Hoedown, 507 Sylamore Ave., Mtn. View.
Graveside service is 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Flatwoods Cemetery with Bro. Paul Lancaster officiating.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
