Funeral services were held at Mt. Comfort at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Mary Emma Pool Dunn, 82, who died at her home on Highway 16 at noon Thursday. Rev. George Pond, assisted by Rev. Hurley Dunn, conducted the service.
Mrs. Dunn, daughter of George and Martha Taylor Carter, was born in Yell county August 22, 1855. She is survived by her husband, F.W. Dunn, and by the following children: A.C. Pool, of Santa Barbara, Calif.; E.E. Pool, of Fayetteville; Ond Pool, of Fayetteville; Frank Pool, Fayetteville; Mrs. Walter Pettigrew, Farmington; Mrs. C.O. Taylor, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Venila Yount, Elm Springs; and a brother, J.M. Carter of Fayetteville.
Pallbearers were six grandsons: Hugh Garland and Russell Pool, Asa Hall, Frank Marrs and Bernice Snowder.
