Monday, November 28, 1949
Ond Pool, 71, died yesterday morning in City Hospital. A life long resident of Washington County, he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Pool; a son, Garland of
Marionville, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Dorsel and Mrs. Clara Bell Mitchell of Fayetteville; three brothers, A.C. Pool of Winter Haven, Calif., E.E. Pool and Frank Pool, both of Fayetteville; three sisters, Mrs. Tiny Taylor of Compton, Calif., Mrs. Walter Pettigrew of Fayetteville and Mrs. Vinila Yount of Elm Springs; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held today at 2:30 at Moore's Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Paul Bumpers. Burial was in Mt. Comfort cemetery.
