Paul John Fields, 59, of Rogers, died Sunday, March 3, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers.
He was born March 22, 1936, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., to Obie and Luree McUbbins Fields. He had lived in the area for 15 years coming from Harrisonville, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fields, six sons, Paul Fields of Bentonville, Mike Fields, Michael D. Fields and Mark Fields, all of Rogers, Jeffery Fields of Centerton and Steven Fields of Seligman; two daughters, Connie Brewer of Pea Ridge and Paula Broughton of Rogers; three brothers, Lewis Fields, Jimmy Fields, and Thomas Fields, all of Butler; two sisters, Maudie Pennington of Grandview, Mo., and Goldie Coonce of Kansas City, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, the Rev. Jerry Self officiating. Burial was at Tucks Chapel Cemetery, Rollins Funeral Home directing.

PEA RIDGE -- Mary Ellen Fields, age 74, of Pea Ridge, Ark., passed away on Jan. 10, 2011, in Bella Vista, Ark. She was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Dalhart, Texas, to the late Frank and Clara Blanton. She loved country music and dancing.
She is survived by five sons, Paul W. Fields of Siloam Springs, Ark., Mike Fields of Avoca, Ark., Michael Fields of Avoca, Ark., Jeff Fields of Centerton, Ark., Steven Fields of Avoca, Ark.; two daughters, Connie Brewer of Pea Ridge, Ark., Paula Broughton of Pea Ridge, Ark.; three sisters, Patricia, Florence and Susie, all of California; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Fields, one son, Mark K. Fields; and by two brothers, Frank and Phil.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, at Rollins Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Self will officiate the service.
Interment will be in Tucks Chapel Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
